Here are a few links and resources we use commonly for research, Bible study, and general information.  Check them out and let us know if you have other great online resources.

Bowling Green Baptist Church – If you are in the Bowling Green, VA area, I would be remiss if I didn’t point you towards a loving congregation that loves to see new faces.  When I first moved to the Bowling Green region around 2009, I started attending this church.  At this time, they were going through a transitional period following some not-so-great events.  Since then, this church has really sought God’s vision for their body and continues to pursue their calling for the Caroline County region and beyond.  If you have students, make sure to check out our Student Ministries page!

YouthSpecialties – Youth Specialties has been in the youth ministry game for a long, long time.  They host the annual PlanetWisdom conference in March and have a wealth of resources for youth leaders, parents, and anyone else with connections to teens.  Our youth leader, Joseph Pack, is a contributor to their blog, so make sure not to miss out on the conversation over there!

Bible Gateway – This site has almost any translation of the Bible imaginable and copies in almost any language you might want.  If you create an account, you can also create devotionals and reading plans that you can access from your smartphone or tablet.

Crosswalk – This site hosts a variety of authors and syndicated contributors from across the internet who write about various subjects including youth ministry.  Years and years ago, a much younger (like 11 year old) Joseph was active on forums that were hosted by the site.  The forums are no more, but the content is still thought provoking.  Remember, you don’t have to agree with someone just because they’re a Christian blogger/writer.
